How To Take

Before taking Cipro, inform the doctor of any allergies to cipro and other antibiotics as well as other medications. Also tell doctor if patient has medical conditions such as arthritis, cerebral palsy, dementia, stroke, or kidney and liver disease. If patient is taking antacids, allow some time to pass between when you take a dose of any of these medications and when you take a dose of ciprofloxacin. Ciprofloxacin may cause confusion, dizziness, tiredness, and lightheadedness therefore do not engage in activities that require mental alertness and coordination. Prolonged exposure to the sun may make skin sensitive so use protective clothing and sunscreen when exposed to sunlight. Ciprofloxacin may cause diarrhea during or after treatment therefore do not treat diarrhea with over-the-counter drugs, consult the doctor first.
